so i stopped by my usual spot when i don't have time to take the boat out,of the bride in the French river i believe.theres a nice big pool about 10 to 15 feet deep.i wanted to try the float and fly out,so i through it for about a half hour without a single tap.so i put it down and tried dropshot and crank bait with nothing on that either. i figured id give the float and fly one more try,i through it out twich it a few times let it sit,about 1 min later the bober darts under.i kid you not i had a hog of a large mouth bass on the line.ive caught many bass around 5 pounds,my best being 5lb8oz and this bass was def bigger.the problem is you cant horse a hawg like that in on 6lb floro.nope bad mistake.
