With this unit you fight the fish right from the holder using straight or bent butt tackle.
Takes up very little deck space, not like the bulky fighting chairs from the old days. Save the stand-up fishing heroics for the tv stars. With this unit anyone can land any size fish.
I bought this unit brand new in 2008 for Giant tuna fishing, but never mounted it on my boat. Have used one on another boat- they work very well.
For thru-bolt mounting to deck, Otherwise a removable deck plate is available from the manufacturer.
