I think you need to let people know what town you would like to fish in, so that they can let you know what is close to you.

We've had some good cold days resently. SO :!: using a little common sense, this question is very easy to answer :!: :!: 1.) Get a map of CT. Draw a line thru the middle of the state from west to east. Any bodies of water north of the line are reasonably safe. Those south of the line are likely questionable. Until after this up coming cold WX week. 1 thru 7 Jan. 2010. 2.) You have to start doing some of your own research and make some road trips to check out those bodies of water you want to fish. 3.) With more and more ice fishermen entering the sport, most long time icefishermen are reluctant to make ice reports this time of year (1st ICE) so as not to have a great many people showing up at their favorite lakes and ponds. Believe me everyone wants to keep their "Honey Holes" a secret :!: :!: I may make a post of having a good or poor day fishing but not say where I was fishing :!: Prefer the waters I fish to be occupied with few people or none at all :!: Peace and Quiet is what I seek :!: SeaDog
