I went and checked out Moosup pond, walked out about 100 feet from shore and had about five inches. I was on the north end of the pond. Saw some guys out fishing on the beach end. I have no idea how the middle is but I've seen open water a few times during the winter so us your best judgment.

well a few buddies and i are going to be goinh to Mashapaug this weekend, so hopefully ice up there is safe after this really cold week. If anyone has any ice reports for Mash they would be appreciated. Thanks.
