Mid-Winter Blues!
Message:
Hi Guys! Well it's that time again (Mid to Late Winter) when the fishing really gets very slow. Oxygen levels under the ice are getting much lower, so the fish are getting more legarthic! This is where finesse fishing starts to pay off. Smaller jigs, smaller baits, and very subtle movements! Fish still have to eat but not as eager as they where earlier. Best of Luck SeaDog1

Hi Andersodnb! My luck on trout has been real spotty the past week! Only 3, and they where small on jiging rods -> 2 of which where dead stick. Thinking of finally trying for White Perch & Crappie down in one of the Ct. River coves this week. Best of Luck, SeaDog1
