BASSMASTER CLASSIC

I've been a very "casual" follower of the BMC. No matter how avid we all are, we have to admit that watching a fishing tourney on TV is not what you'd call "exciting television". Anyways, I understand the rules on 14" and alive at the podium Yet, can the anglers toss back a smaller fish from their livewell to replace it with a larger one that increases their daily limit poundage? Or, do the rules state that whatever they decide to put in the well is what they have to keep? Thanks!

The goal is to catch the best 5 largemouth, and spotted bass in this classic possible. You can keep 5 1 pounders if you want, or 5 5 pounders. Once you have 5 keeper bass then you can go after the big ones and start culling out the little ones until you are satisfied with your 5 bass limit. Once you catch 5 though theres no need to stop fishing. Fish until the time is up, because you never know you just might land a 10 pounder in the final minute on the "last cast".

I just wasn't sure about when they could keep or release. Thanks for clarifying!
