What do you skip under docks?
Message:
What is your favorite bait to skip under docks with the best results?
and
What kind of set up do you use, and with what type and size of line?
and
What is the largest bass you have ever taken from under a dock with this technique, and on what lake?
For me, my 2 favorites are a 4" magnum flippin tube, and a 5" senko type bait. Both rigged Texas style with a 1/16th oz tungsten bullet weight. Both on a 6'6" medium action St. Croix spinning rod, spooled with 12lb. berkley vanish floro.
For me it was a 5lb 11oz largemouth on Highland Lake, on the senko type bait.

I love skipping 5" houdini shad or similar plastic swim baits. My best under dock fish was probably a 3lber. The H shads skip like a flat rock. Senko's and tubes are also great for skipping. My technique needs work though.
