"The Diehards!"

Hi All! Well......There's always some Diehards! Got a "Kick/Laugh" reading some posts, on 2 other forums, from some guys from the southern portions of Connecticut begging and I do mean literally BEGGING :!: for ice condition info....on waters lets say North of I-84. Did they get any responses.........NOPE :!: NOT 1 I'm not surprised at all :!: ......Not many (and I don't blame them) at this time of year would even concider revealing the where abouts of the few if any lakes or ponds that may still have some decent ice conditions left. Put that kind of info out and every "Diehard Hardwater Jockey" in the state will be there the next day :!:  (Would look like a Mall parking lot at Christmas time!) All season I've noticed guys posting......"Had a great day on lake/pond X-Y-Z" or washing out the backgrounds on pictures they took. Ice fishing use to be done by only a few.....Now, its a major winter affair and everyone wants info on where the fish are biting. I usually do post where I've fished, but I may reconcider that decision come next season, as I have noticed an increase in new comers to the waters I fish after I make a post. IT'S GETTING MORE AND MORE CROWDED EACH YEAR :!:   :x Anyway.......Come most of next week the temps will be in the 40's....So By-By Old Man Winter and Ice :!: :D HELLO SPRING and SPRING FISHING :!: :D :D SeaDog1

Ice is long gone SeaDog. West Hill should be gone by my spring break which is two weeks from now. I'll be up there every morning trolling for my 20 pound brown that I saw last fall
