Short trip to Rogers, 6/6

Got the itch to wet a line real bad yestarday evening,..so I shot over to Rogers Lake for about an hour and a half of fishing until it got dark. The wind was howling and a lot colder than I expected! I tried a dropshot and a jig but really couldn't feel them so I just threw a Mattlures babybass swimbait as I blew down the shorelines. I had a bunch of small fish nipping at it without hooking up,..but I did put 2 bass and one pickeral into the boat! The bass were nothing great, about 1.5 and 2.5,..but it sure beat sitting at home! :wink:

At least you got out there and caught a few! :D I haven't been out since last Thursday. I have a club tourney on the river Saturday so my time is coming.
