Mass. Trout Stocking!
Message:
Hi All! Well to start -> I got my Mass. Non-Resident fishing Lic. $37.50. Isn't that a kick -> Ct. Non-resident fishing Lic. is $80.00 And still less than a Resident fishing Lic. at $40.00 Mass. started stocking their waters last week and western Mass. this week. I'm 13 minutes from the border up here in the NW corner of Ct. And Mass has an open season all year long :!: [b:7181357ce5]SWEET :!: [/b:7181357ce5] And as, what I concider, a BONUS -> Mass. stocks Trout that are "way bigger" than Ct. does. All trout waters in Ct. are closed or will be closed after March 31st. So it looks like I'll be spending mucho time the next 3 weeks (very possibly more) fishing in Mass. AS A SUGGESTION: It might be worth it to many, that live less than an hour from the Mass. border, to get a Non-resident Lic. Best regards, SeaDog1

I was thinking of doing the same thing this year because I can fish Congamond with a MA or CT fishing license. But I like fishing the Farmington River too much so I'm going to spend the extra $2.50 so I can fish both ;)

Hi! I'm leaving (1:15 PM) now to go up Rt. 8 north to fish that part of the Farmington River in Mass. between New Boston and Otis. Heard Mass. stocked big Rainbows 17 inches and better as of this past week. Will let you know how I do :!: SeaDog1
