Meguiars Gelcoat Restoration Kit

Hey guys, I have a 1985 stratos that has seen it's better days. the gelcoat is pretty dull and not looking very good anymore so I was thinking about trying to clean it up and bring back alittle bit of the shine it once had so I was wondering if anyone has tried the Meguiars gelcoat restoration kit from westmarine. its about $40 so I don't want to waste money on something that might not work. If anyone has any other ideas I would appreciate your input. Thanks!

JUST GO TO THE AUTO PARTS STORE AND GET RUBBING COMPUND IT WILL DO THE SAME THING FOR HALF THE PRICE IT WILL TAKE SOME ELBOW GREASE BUT YOU CAN GET THE SHINE BACK .IF YOU HAVE A ELECTRIC BUFFER IT MAKES THE JOB ALOT FASTER
