Familiar with the Housatonic?

Driving down rt 110 from Shelton to Stratford I noticed some guys getting ready to fish. I imagine they were after Stripers?... It was upriver a bit from Beacon Point Marine. Maybe chunkers? Anyone tried from shore in that vicinity? ... tjd

The stripers are in and have been in for awhile now can fish from shore too... Behind the sports center by the helicopter place has been great too
