5/11 CTR smackdown with Largefry!!!!

We launched out of Saybrook at 530 and went fishless for the first 90 minutes as we tried a couple of our favorite places. After that we decided to move around and as we were pulling up on another spot we saw one bust the surface just a cast-length away. Shortly after,..AJ was putting the first one in the boat! From then, until we left about an hour later,..it was non-stop action!! We lost count in all the excitement,..but the total was definitely north of 20! We had at least 10 keepers,..5 fish over 30 and the best for each of us were 35-36"!! At one point I turned to AJ as I was releasing one and said, "you know you're having a good day when you're disappointed that it's just another 28-incher!!" :shock: :shock: :lol: Definitely the best day that we've ever had together!!
