fished today sun club tourney.one proud moment for a dad.my fishing partner my 16 year old son had his limit and stated culling fish by 10:30 .his first ever tourney for both and he landed a nice 3.5lmb for his 5 fish.and he beat me by2oz total i think it was7.84lbs.what a great day.winning was 14 something lbs .still was a fantastic day for both,he needs the practice because he is fishing jr federation this year.take a kid fishing.

Congratulations! You're lucky that your son likes to fish. My 16-year old couldn't care less and doesn't have the patience for it. Luckily, my 12-year old daughter likes to fish, but she likes to catch large numbers of panfish off a dock more than sitting in a boat looking for lunkers.
