Recipe for DISASTER!

Hi All! Well I got out last night for some night fishing on West Hill. Beautiful Night - Dead Calm - Clear Sky - and Could See All the Constellations! Slow fishing thought! Well bad enough to have to deal with WISEGUYS breaking the law and speeding -> now we have boaters running around at night with NO Running Lights :!: Had 2 boaters last night pass me with NO Running Lights or any lights! Heard their motors, but couldn't see them till they where almost on top of me! Good thing I had My Lights ON (As I Always DO at Night) :!: This is getting ridiculously out of hand -> Running around on a dark body of water with no lights is asking for "DISASTER" :!: The worse offenders I've noticed over the past 2 years is some of the kayakers who don't even carry a flashlight at night to signal other boaters of their presents at night. People -> Lights are required by law as a Visual SAFETY Measure :!: Oh! and a Whistle (Sound Signaling Device) ALSO! It's only a matter of "WHEN!" someone is involved in a night time collision because of speeding, inattentiveness (Stupidity), or not having required SAFETY EQUIPMENT (By LAW) aboard their vessel! Belive ME! -> Someone is going to get Injured or Killed! -> AND I'll be the first to look you in the eye and say "I TOLD YOU SO :!: " People -> "PLEASE" use common sense! -> Have all your required safety gear aboard and your required Running Lights ON at night :!: Best regards, SeaDog1

Bottom line...PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND IN DOING SO PUT ALL OF OUR LIVES AT RISK...so watch your back everyone...
