Strange catch at my local pond 6/17
Message:
I stopped by my local pond for a 1/2hr on my way home from work last night. I caught a couple of very small LMB on the 5" wacky pumpkin senko out of the weeds. The strange thing was on one of my retrieves when the bait got close to shore I saw a 24"+/- water snake jump out of the reeds and grabbed my bait. I really couldn't believe it. That thing must have been hungry. Here's a few pics and proof that senkos can catch just about anything... Nope he wasn't hooked. He was just hanging by his fangs from the worm. Like I said he must have been hungry.
