rainbow reservoir 6/19
Message:
fished from 6:30 - 9:00 am and picked up 1 sunny on a jig. also threw salamaders and senkos at laydowns, under overhangs, brush, etc for most of the west bank till i switched over to the other side up river. water was real muddy.
i am hoping it was just a bad day and will be back when i have the time for the 1+ hour drive.

it can be a tough place but it can also be real good. seems if the water is moving it tends to be better. cant really imagine why it would be so muddy with the lack of rain we have had. i have done real well there with a blackberry brushog when the water is brown there. next time man.

I've heard that fishing structure is better than fishing the shore at Rainbow Reservoir. I don't have a fish finder, yet, so I tend to throw at the shore, but I'd think a drop shot might work.
