Rogers 6/13

Got out at Rogers after work from about 6 till 830 or so,...
A cold stiff wind was blowing and I was glad that I took the raingear along cause I needed every layer I could get! Took me a while to get on the fish,..but once I figured out that they were up shallow cruising on the open, windy banks,..it was pretty good fishing and I managed to boat 6 bass and a pickeral in the time I had. Everthing was on a heavily weighted jig or tube, which I had to use because of the wind! Biggest bass was 3lbs but I also lost one right at the boat that was definitely between 4 & 5lbs, as I fumbled for the net which I had piled a bunch of rods on top of!! :x :roll: :roll:
Tossed my big swimbait for a while too but unfortunately couldn't get any takers! Hope this fishing holds up thru the weekend!! :wink:
