Dock Fishing at City Pier, New London

Jul 1st, 2010. Still not many baitfish and there haven't been any snappers or harbor blues caught yet when I've been there.. Lots of small to medium size porgies, though. Last year there were quite a few nice blues that hit on bunker, porgy, snappers or mackerel. BTW, great place to take the kids to give them some fishing experience.

Welcome to the forum,..
I don't know if it means anything since I'm fishing mainly down herre in Saybrook,..but last year the blues really didn't show up much until August, right around the same time that the water finally warmed up! I've heard that the water temp was cool again this year, so that might have something to do with it,.....maybe this patch of hot weather recently will change things!
