Batterson Lake recently?

I have been fishing Batterson Lake from the shore the last few weeks. Is it me or is there nothing in there anymore? I caught 1 Walleye my first time out; however, the last 6 times I have been skunked. I havent caught anything and Ive had very few bites. =(
Has anyone had any recent luck fishing Batterson from the shore?

hey, Ive never fished there so im not sure if i'm right but maybe you aren't able able to reach the deeper water from shore and chances are thats where the fish are staying since it's been so hot but if you have the time you should try fishing just before or at dark and you might get some fish coming in a little closer to shore.

I haven't been back to Batterson since 06/25. However, I agree with basswacka19. If I were to fish from the shore, I'd do it at night.
