Bantam 08-01

Hit Bantam at 5:30am. Foggy and flat. Went to my spot on the rocky point and caught a nice 2.5lb smalley....on a senko. It was so flat and foggy, had to throw a top water bait. Bang, another small jaw just under 2 lbs. Caught a big headed skinny slimedart on a senko and a crappie on a tube. Off the water by 7:00am.
Didnt have much time to fish, just wanted to reset the boat on the trailer after the leaf spring broke.
Water Temp 75-78. The water seemed clearer than usual but still green. Not alot of weeds. The water level is way way down. I bet it's down 3 ft. Had fun!
Broke the rules a little bit but its rare that I'm alone in the boat. So trimed her up and came back to the launch hittin almost 65 mph

Where did you launch at the boat ramp or up at White memorial again?

BGT,
I launched at the "old state launch".
Who knows who is watching. I usually fish there very early or very late.
I guess I have been lucky so far
The launch is in the same condition. Pretty steep with the water level down.
Not to bad I launched and loaded by myself.
That big rock on the left is like 10ft from the water
