shark fishing in the surf

im trying to find out if fishing for shark in the surf in the new england area is possible or productive at all. Has anybody done this do this or had anyluck ?

where in NE are you looking to do this? Martha Vinyard has had about 6 great white sightings close to shore but those are illegal to catch :lol: .

I don't think surf fishing for sharks in NE will be very productive for you. However you can catch sharks in NE. I have taken a few cod/haddock fishing charters out this year and we do catch dogfish. They tend to be in about the 3 to 4ft range but they are also in about 200 to 300ft of water.
