Best night fishing within 25 minute radius of Bristol?
Message:
Looking for somewhere different to fish...has to have a launch, allow electric motors, and not close between sunset and sunrise. I'd also like it to have pads, a well-defined weedline and no crazy stumps or boulders in random places so I can zip around in the dark without turning on my headlamp and destroying my night eyes. Oh, and it must have bass.
I'm just using my appointment in Bristol as an excuse to fish more west. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe something that isn't in the DEP guide? I'm VERY tempted to try Highland or launch in West Hill but that whole northwest corner is a really long drive home for me, and twice in one week is overkill. That's why I put 25 minutes and not 32.
Thank you. :-)

"Night Eyes"
Message:
Use a red film over your headlamp lense or buy a lamp that comes with interchangeable lenses. Red light does not hurt your night eyes nor scare fish. I have two lights with me, one red and one white.
I live east of the river and have no suggestions near Bristol. I like Lower Bolton. Rarely catch something big but has lots of stupid fish (fish willing to bite my offerings). Highland is really big for electric only. With your craft I would recommend a trip to Lower Moodus.
