cedar 9/3

fished from 10:30 to 12:30 and picked up 7 lmb. all on jigs and all in the northeast corner of the lake off the deep weed edge (except 1 tiny one in front of the camp).
from the ramp i immediately went to the deep weed edge (7-10') and started fishing counterclockwise. quickly picked up a 1.5 lb'r after about 15 minutes. picked up 2 more (2.8 and 2.2 lbs) near the floating dock. i almost got another large one and lost it on the 2nd jump. stupid me didn't retie and immediately broke my line on another).
picked up 3 more in front of the 1st beach (2.9 and 2 ~1.5 lbs) on about 6 casts. that was an incredible 1st hour...
fished to the second beach...nothing. so i cruised over to the camp. other then picking up the dink, nothing. fished a little of the west edge, nothing.
it rained a little and stopped, a breeze picked up and stopped. it was like this for the 2 hours... calm before the storm!

I was going to head over to Bantam River today, but got stuck at home. I'm glad that [i:e65f78b231]someone[/i:e65f78b231] was able to take advantage of the fine fishing weather that we have today. I've never been to Cedar Lake. Did you get any photos? Also, what were you throwing?

i was throwing spot stalker jig with a green spider grub.
no pictures. i only pull out the camera when the fish is 3+ lbs.
