5 OR 11LB PROPANE TANK

has anyone used these small tanks in place on the 1lb. bottles , i have a buddy heater and that thing works great but don't want to keep changing bottles, thinking of the 5 lb. tank , plus trying to keep the wgt. down when pulling my sled on the ice. i know the 1lb. bottles are way lighter but just want constant heat in my shanty..
