Went sat at 1pm until dark thirty. Sign on gate say only for fisherman. dep waiting when we left but when he saw sign he came down from his high horse and told us of some good tips for area. a few small bass and the one that got away 3ish lbs on top water wtd. a few small pike. tried making it to dam but thats a far ride. its hard not to stop and take a cast or two when it looks so good. made the trip on one trolling battery but brought two.

Did you head toward Pike City at the dam on the south end or the desolate area at the dam on the north end?
