Gander Mountain -> Again!
Message:
Hi All!
Well, went to GM in Kingston, NY yesterday.
GM had a special Veterans discount sale, so I thought I'd take advantage of it.
Got $85.00 worth of ice fishing tackle and got 40% off!
Man :!: -> I do love that store :!: -> Heck of a lot cheaper than Cabela's :!:
Now the problem is -> I need a bigger tackle bag to put everything in :!: :shock: :D

Sounds like a nice trip. Unfortunately if I figure in the $20 in gas it will take me to get there & back it doesn't save me much seeing as I work about 5min from Cabela's.
Congrats on the new gear by the way.

Hi DD!
It's not the gas or the savings so much as I always find at GM what I'm looking for and more!
Cabela's was born in Nebraska (Great Plains) and their main stay started with hunting and outdoor clothing.
GM was born in Wisconsin (Great Lakes and rivers) and their main stay started with fishing and boating.
I've been to both, and right now GM is carrying 3 to 4x more ice fishing gear then Cabela's. + stuff I've never ever seen at Cabela's over the last 3 years!
So! As a personal choice -> I'd rather go to GM over Cabela's -> Besides they are dog friendly and some of the people there are always happy to see MacDonough :D -> He loves going there and hams it up, knowing he's going to get a treat! :lol: :lol:
Would be a good idea, if you, Phil, Daryl, Kira and others where to car pool and make a road trip at least once to check it out!
OMG :!: Just came to me :!: All 4 of you in one car on a road trip :!:
What a riot that would be :!: :roll: :shock: :P
Best regards always,
