Bantam Ice Fishing

I'm planning on hitting Bantam tomorrow. I've heard the ice is fine but any first hand info would be nice. I was also wondering if anybody knows about parking and access at the northern end of the lake?

You probably already figured it out but the best place to park is on North Shore rd off of rt 202. you can park along point folly camp ground. there also is a town beach parking on the same rd but you need a sticker. Sometimes town officials stop and check the cars. Good luck!
