Breakneck Pond

When metalfish, TurtleKiss and I finally got to Breakneck, we were all disappointed to see a group of guys on the ice with a couple of quads and a gasoline powered auger. Our mood wasn't helped by the fact that they were already spread out in the area we had intended to fish.
But it got worse. Would you believe that when one of their tip-ups popped they would start up a quad and drive over to it? Yeah, 50 feet was too far to walk for them. It sounded like we were fishing next to a bunch of landscapers with lawn tractors and chainsaws for most of the day.
After they left, we went over to fish some of their holes, which we found were huge; 10 inchers, I think. They left both dead and live minnows in and around most of the holes. And they also left cigarette butts, tackle packaging and other trash on the ice. We picked up some, but, regretfully, left a lot of it there. I'll have to carry a trash bag in my bucket from now on.
Come on, guys, we can do better than that!

I hope that these are native to Breakneck.
