Nystroms

Wondering if anyone here has ever ice fished Nystroms pond in Thomaston/Northfield? I grew up around there and fish it from time to time in the summer and its great for bass and pan fish. Just curious if anyone has tried and how the ice is there? If not, I'm going to try this week and I'll let you know how it goes. I'm new to ice fishing this year and working on finding my way around the sport.

Never heard of it -> Is it a Public, Town owned, or Private water :?:

Town owned but yes it is public. Best place to park is on the dam side off of Moose Horn Rd in Northfield. The beach side is on Turner Rd. Its actually in Thomaston but right on the town line of Northfield. I'm going to try it later this week. I'll let you know how it goes. My dad told me today that he has seen a few guys out there.
