Hi All!
While perusing some other ice fishing forums, I read posts of some people bragging about sneaking out on private waters to fish.
A couple even had the gall to say that it might be worth the risk :!:
Any way you cut it THAT'S POACHING :!: :evil:
Anyone considering doing that is NOT A SPORTSMAN but a CHEATER :!:
Better to ask politely and get permission or an invite -> Then to be a SNEAK, CHEATER, and POACHER :!:
After getting my Mass. license today I went over to see the owner of a private pond there and asked him for permission to ice fish it -> AND GOT IT :!:

and sometimes the land owner will also be helpful with the where, with what and how big...

like you sad it never herts to ask we have a small pond on our family farm and all year long we have to go down and tell them thay need to leave.when all thay need to do is ask.so with that sad just ask and 90% of the time thay will say ok
