Long Range Wx Predictions

Hi All! All this snow is making ice fishing difficult for many! Those that have gotten out are posting that they are finding a layer of slush between the snow and ice on many waters. SAFETY under these conditions IS PARAMOUNT :!: So I went over and reviewed 3 major Wx sites for their long range 2011 winter predictions. All report, that the outlook for the rest of January thru Feburary is for continued cold with a series of winter storms with a wintery mix of precipatation. Not exactly encouraging! Have put in a call to a maritime friend of mine at the National Wx Center to send me the very latest 60 day outlook report. This is the best accurate report available and used by the maritime service and military. I'll post info as soon as I receive it. Be SMART :!: - Be SAFE :!: SeaDog1
