hit pish pond

got there first light cold but not to bad. Only able to fish a few hours but it was well worth it. 5 smallies 1.5lbs-2.5, 3 largemouth one around 4 pounds. plus the usual big perch and crappie about 15 combined jigging. And every fish returned healthy.

Were the bass all caught on tip-ups? If so, what kind of bait did you use?
I still haven't gotten any tip-ups. I'm not ready to give up on the challenge of jigging up a big fish. At least, not yet. But the urge to land something other than small panfish is growing. . . . :?
