reports are for 2/17/11
cedar: 8am til 11am
ice 14" thick
5 tip ups and a jiggin rod
1 dink pickerel in 8' of water
no other hits or flags
private pond: noon til dark
ice 12" thick, 2" to 4" of slushy stuff by dark
5 tip ups and a jiggin rod again
1 sunnie on a tip up around 3pm
9 sunnies right before dark from same hole, rapid succession
must have drilled 25+ holes, very strange bite this year
fish are tough to find for some reason
full moon came up very orange
made for breathtaking ending to the warmest day so far this season
feb/march ice fishing can be priceless
