Countryside Park 02/18
Message:
I couldn't stay indoors on such a warm day, so I jigged at Countryside Park in Avon, from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm, from 2:10 pm to 3:10 pm and from 4:20 pm to 5:50 pm. While the weather was beautiful and the ice thick (i.e., eight inches of clear ice covered by nine inches of frozen slush), the fishing was almost completely dead. :( I fished mostly in the lower pond, but also drilled several holes in the upper pond. I got three nibbles all day, all in the lower pond. Luckily, the park is walking distance from my house and access to the ponds is easy. Here are a couple of videos:
