Congamond 2/19

Went to Congamond today with my Son's cub scout den. We fished the SW end of middle pond. We had a great time. It was chilly but the wind was the worst part. I would say it averaged 15 to 20 mph winds with gusts up to 35 or 40 mph. A couple of gusts even knocked me off balance never mind the kids. The ice was about 16" total. Our group set up about 12 tip-ups and had several jigging rods going too but we only caught fish on the tip-ups. We ended up with 4lmb and a 13" rainbow trout. One of the lmb was a 18" 3-lber and another was a 15" 1lb 6oz. The other 2 bass were a 12" and an 8" or 9". It was a fun one for the kids. Not many pics this time because of other people's kids in the pics. I'm not going to post them without permission. Here's one of the rainbow I took home.
