Spring Pond 03/04

asianfisher (aka Billy) and I fished Spring Pond, today, from 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm. It was sunny and really not that cold, but the freakin' wind killed us. It blew out of the south/southwest at a steady 15+ miles per hour the entire time that we were out on the ice. I wanted to check out the northeast corner of the pond, where the creek flows into it. All told, Billy jigged up four small yellow perch and one 11 inch cow yellow perch, and the really nice black crappy. I got two small yellow perch and, as seems to be usual there, one fall fish. We didn't get any flags on the five tip-ups and lost one minnow. I really hope that the wind dies before tomorrow morning.
