I think the case with most of us in CT is when the warmer weatehr comes alot of our favorite spots get choked with milfoil and all that aquatic matted vegetation. I was wondering what you guys use to fish that besides top water frogs.

I'll be trying out these topwater hybrid garlic MouseWorms with Stanley DoubleTake frog hooks:

I've been 100% topwater when it comes to fishing in heavy vegetation but I'm going to attempt punching through the mat with some creature baits this year. At night I use buzzbaits as close to the weed edge as I can get, parallel if possible.
