Konolds Pond 03/27
Message:
I fished at Konolds Pond with jonnyfly00 (aka Jon), asianfisher (aka Billy) and Billy's dad, Bill. I paddled El Habanero, Jon paddled Rufus, and Billy and Bill each paddled an orange kayak. The conditions were brutal on Sunday. It was sunny and windy (i.e., gusting in excess of 20 mph), but, thankfully, the air temperatures weren't sub-freezing like they were on Saturday, although not by much. We launched on the south end of the pond and paddled north, into the teeth of the wind. Billy had the foresight to remind me to bring anchors, so Jon and I were prepared. I'm typing this on my iPhone, so here's my video report:

I caught only the one pound, three ounce largemouth bass. Bill got a 13 inch largemouth bass on his crappie rig. Jon got skunked and I think that Billy did, too.

Nice job catching one Phil. It was a tough day with the wind.
