"OMG" Moment!
Message:
Hi! Had erans to do today in Waterbury. On way back -> Stopped to see my friend Rick. From there went by Stillwater and Park Pond -> Both with white ice still on them. Went on to Winchester Lake -> Turned into the boat ramp and parked. White ice still on the lake but the ramp area and about 30 ft. of open water in front of the dam. While sitting there a BIG swirl occured in the open water in front of the dam. Got out of my truck and walked to the dam to see what made the swirl. Water is gin clear -> There maybe 2-3 minutes. Then the "OMG moment" ocurred! Out from under the ice comes this "HUGE PIKE"   This baby is easily well over 30 inches and Super Fat - A real Torpedo :!: Since only females get that big, I have little doubt that it was. Probably so Fat because she's carrying eggs. Watched her for 2-3 minutes till she went back under the ice. Definitely got my blood racing! Don't know what she was after because I didn't see any other fish. Anyway -> Thought you guys would like to know -> Made my day :!: :D SeaDog1
