4th of July on Quonipaug

Fished Quonni for a while in the early morning,..got 4 bass, the best two were 3lbs each! Got one on a swimbait and the rest on a jig.
Would have been a decent day,..but actually I lost 3 more good sized fish,..two tangled me up in the thick weeds so i'm not sure how big they were but they both felt solid and then, the last one was about 4-lbs on the swimbait and shook me off next to the boat when i was too tired to get the net! :( It was at that point, that I called it a morning!! :roll:
