West Hill!

Hi!
Arrrrrrrrgh!
Went by West Hill on my way home today around 1:20 PM.
Only the boat basin and ramp has open water -> rest of the pond covered with white ice.
Parked on the boat ramp.
While sitting there -> 3 big trout made feeding swirls, "all at the same time", in the boat basin. Feeding on those tiny black nymphs.
Wish there had been open water there the last few days of March when the special season was still on.
Oh well! Opening day is only a short ways off.

Went to Rainbow Res. a couple of weeks ago trying for some yellow perch for bait. I was there at sunrise and there were some big trout surfacing just off shore.

Hi Flipper!
Yeah! Those black nymphs that are on the water are like cashews to us to the trout!
