Quonnipaug 7/3 11pm - 7/4 4:30am

Called Rookie from home around 8:30pm. He was at Quonnipaug with someone named Kevin (I think), and they were fishing since 4pm. I don't know if I talked him into staying out all night, or if he talked me into taking the night shift. Anyway, I drove the 35 miles and arrived with some D&D coffee at 11pm.
Hmmm, hello? are you gonna pick me up?!? Guess I'll throw a few casts from shore, good thing he likes his coffee cold. BAM! pickerel, about 3 lbs.
So got on the boat and 10 mins later pulled out back to back 1 pounder LMB on the same popper.
About midnight Kevin left, then it was all Rookie for a few hours. He nailed about five 2-3 pounder LMB on senkos and another one on a jitterbug. I couldn't even get a nibble on a senko, and only had one hit on the popper.
Finally, around 4am, I hit another monster pickerel. They just love my popper. It weighed in at 3.02 on Rookie's digital. Yeah, I know its just a pickerel but he fought hard and I needed the catch.
