SO/SO DAY ON LAKE HOUSATONIC

Did you ever get it into your head you were going to use a special lure and nothing else. I have seen alot of posts here and the other site about all the success guys were having with JERK baits. I had never used one but I decided I would try no matter what. Well after an hour and a half with not so much as a bite I began to realize why they call them JERK baits. Anyway water temp was 69 and the water was very clear (for the river). After the great JERK bait fiasco I managed 5 or 6 SMB and alot of rock bass. LMB must be hiding somewhere. Nothing on buzzbaits or spinnerbaits or even as I call them the dreaded SENKO. All fish were caught on POP-R'S. Kind of wish I hadn't bought all those buzzbaits and spinnerbaits (produced the most last year) this spring. Oh well the fish are safe again at Lake Housatonic. cmorjoe

LOL,..as soon as you get rid of the buzzbaits,..THAT's when the buzzbait-bite will turn on!! It always works that way!! :wink:
