Skipped around town today trying to find a spot where the fish were biting. Caught a few, but bites were few and far between... Quaddick lake - targeting pike... caught one perch, no other bites Random small pond - targeting bass... one small LMB, one pumpkinseed French river - targeting bass... one large "creek chub". ive been calling these things fallfish, but according to a fellow fisherman i met today they are actually creek chub West thompson dam - targeting bass... skunked back to small random pond - targeting bass... one crappie could have been a worse day, at least i caught some fish! i can't wait for the bite to pick up. at most of these places i also had a second rod setup in a holder with a carp hair rig.... but nothing touched it all day long :(.
