Risley Reservoir

Hit risley reservoir this morning for a couple of hours. a bit muggy out with some drizzle, not cold though. Water clear and no movement. I have a large heavy fishing box so I only bring a couple of lures and pliers with me if I walk a distance. No hits, was using a white 1/2 oz roadrunner, a 1/2 oz ratt l r crankbait mostly. Saw a couple of bass near the shore on the dam end. I don't catch a lot when I go there, but the quality of bass and trout are pretty good. Last bass I caught there this past october wen tabout 3lbs. I have to do some stuff around the house, but I may end up going to cabela's to lurk around and then hit union pond again. Don't have a lot of time today. Tomorrow, I'm heading up to congamond and wednesday I will be making my 2011 debut at bigelow pond. It's so relaxing and tranquil up there, I can't wait!
