Got out today with my son Max. Fished small Rapalas, spinners, and a few worms from 7 A.M to 11 A.M. Had a great day despite a bit of a crowd, nabbed 4 rainbows, 12 browns, and a carp. Not too shabby since we are new to trout fishing, a little beginners luck maybe. Beautiful fish, great fishing, good quality time. Kept two of the bait caught fish, they were delicious even though our filleting skills were so-so at best.
