cedar and quonnipaug 5/20-5/22

FINALLY got out on the water did some fishing! 5/20 6:15-7:45pm: fished cedar on for the first trip of the year and caught a 2lb'r lmb and a pickeral. the lmb was caught on a jig in 8' of water and the pickeral on a slugo in the weeds on the northend of the lake. 5/21 7:00-8:30am: fished quonnipaug and got skunked. threw mostly jigs on the deep/shallow drop offs and banks in the northern end of the lake. 5/22 6:30-7:45pm: fished cedar starting out with a jig in the deeper weeds with no luck and then finished off banging the west banks/beds with a texas rigged crawdad picking up 5 by the time i got to the beaches. all around 2.5-3lbs. great to get out fishing!
