Housy Herring Run Over???

I haven't been to the housy in a while but hear the herring have left the building. Any verification of this? I went to one of my local spots that has been holding bass and herring last night and for the first time in weeks it was almost dead. Hardly any fish breaking at all. I was thinking about fishing the housy tonight to shake my 3 day old skunk off. And if anybody knows what and where the stripers are hitting lately up there let me know. Besides the damn dam. Thanks.
