I have joined here to meet new people that share the love of fishing like myself and my family share. I found this site by accident looking at fishing websites online and am glad I found it. Some of you may know us some may not .We are a Family owned bait and tackle shop Located at 405 Lakewood Road in Waterbury. We are “The Big Blue house” with the live bait sign in front. We have been supplying your fishing needs since 1947. We are Open Daily 6am till 7pm from April to October We carry Bait and Tackle for your Fresh and Saltwater needs. Dan Welcome. Thanks for letting the ignorant among us know about your shop. I rarely fish with bait, but would definitely stop by during the Winter when I'm ice fishing in the Waterbury area. I know that you said the shop has been open since 1947 and I'm not trying to be a smartass, but who's Mary? Phil

Mary was my great grandmother and founder of the store. I'm proud to say that im 4th generation at the store. At times its hard there we dont get the customers we useto but people arent fishing asmuch as they useto.
